FAQ

A hackathon is an event where programmers, engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs come together to build an amazing project in 24-hours. We provide the venue and food, you bring the creativity. Be prepared to learn, build something amazing, and meet new people!

The theme for this year's hackathon is environmental conservation, education/awareness, and sustainability.

If you will be a high school student during Fall 2019, you can attend! If you are younger or older, feel free to email us to work something out!

h2hacks encourages students of all levels to come! We will have workshops throughout the hackathon as well as mentors available to answer any of your questions.

You should bring your student ID, laptop, phone, chargers, as well as any other hardware or materials you may need for your projects.

In the beginning, we’ll have a team formation activity. You may also come with a team beforehand. Your team must not exceed four members.

Thanks to our generous sponsors and partners, h2hacks Save the World is completely free for all of our attendees. This will include free t-shirts, food, swag, and prizes!

Your creativity is the limit! You are welcome to create games, apps, websites, hardware devices, and more!

Feel free to send us an email at team@h2hacks.com! All participants must abide by the MLH Code of Conduct.
